25 things I learned as a CP (in no particular order)
1. You're never to old for Disney

4. Pixie Dust is hard to remove
5. The world still believes Mormons practice polygamy
6. Florida's weather is more bipolar than Utah's weather.
7. Just because you're a cast member people expect you to know EVERYTHING about Disney.
8. Stickers help make a little kid stop crying
9. The buses are bound to break down or be late
10. A sleep schedule doesnt exist. Especially if you work in the MK.
11. You can count on a lot of CP's being at IHop at 3 AM on any given night.
12. It's totally appropriate to be the only adult without a child in line to meet a character.
13. Force extensions suck
14. Aladdin is and always will be a total babe.
15. Main Street has the best break room.
16. It's totally normal to stay up late discussing which little girl princess dresses are cute and which ones need changing.
17. Guests get frustrated if you dont speak Spanish....i'm sorry, I thought we were in America?
18. It's not weird to beg families from England to take you back with them. Instead they tell you all about their country!
19. Touch to Pay is either so helpful or a pain in my behind!
20. Nothing brings me and a guest together more than their 1D merch
21. The best guests are always the little kids. They are so much fun to talk to.
22. Dont let your roommate put things on your side of the dresser apparently.
23. The shuttle likes to play Walking On Sunshine when its 1 in the morning AND raining.
24. I think i'm gonna be a pretty rocking mom the way i've dealt with drunks....
25. It's pretty incredible to create friendships with people from all over the world!

So long. Farewell.
I'm back home! :( Oh my gosh how the past few months have been a spectacular journey and i honestly just cant believe its over!
Thursday Kristen and I went to MK to play where Barb met up with us a few hours later. We were there from park opening (give or take a little bit) to park close. We had a blast and was trying to squeeze in everything one last time. It rained a little bit but that didnt put a damper on our parade. No seriously...the parade still went on. thank goodness. I was terrified the rain would cause my 3 0'clock parade to become the rainy day parade and that wouldnt be good for my last time ever. But my parade still went on. I got to see my Adventureland hottie one last time. (most heartbreaking thing walking away knowing I will never see him again...seriously people...total babe!) and was heartbroken once more when Wishes was finished. A lot of cast members -especially those of us who work in the MK grow tired of Wishes, but no no no. Not me. Goosebumps every single time. Unfortunately Tinkerbell didnt fly this night and we were all shocked, we were making up some huge thing like oh its a sign that its time to go home. Time to go grow up. But that just made me sad so we had to go ride Thunder Mountain instead and forget the real world for a few more hours. Barbs mom came and picked us up from the park and once back in 1102 Barb finished packing and left. One down from the original 3 and now all that was left was Kristen and I. It was about 1 in the morning at this point and we had a shuttle to catch at 4 so we planned not to go to sleep. I showered and finished packing while Kristen finished up her stuff. Finally about 230 we were done and ready to go so we sat around until 330 when we went out and waited for the shuttle (plus we didnt want to hold a conversation much longer with a certain person.) Kristen got off the shuttle before I did because her airline was in a different part of the airport than mine so we made our goodbyes quick and away she went. Really sad. Then I sat around and waited for a few hours fighting sleep because I had been up since 730 the previous day. Finally I got on the plane and was asleep while the plane was still taking off. I slept clear until Denver where I had a layover. My flight got delayed an hour so that was super boring. Luckily one of my close friends from Florida was texting me so that kept me occupied for a while.
My family was there to meet me at the airport and they even had signs. I was so excited to finally see Easton in person and to see Kennadi. Lets be honest, the two people I missed the most while I was gone was those two.
My family then went out to dinner and Kennadi, Cami and Austin then came and stayed with us until today so i've had a blast playing with Kennadi.
I'm constantly snap chatting Barb about our post-Disney life and how sad it is and getting texts from Kristen stating "It was only a dream!" [a running joke among 1102] And to top it off for whatever reason we always quote a certain part in Princess Diaries and tonight it was on TV following Cinderella-with WDW commercials like every minute. Like alright world-enough! I'm trying to cope with my life not Disney centered.
I'm still trying to get used to saying normal things because a lot of things arent okay in the real world. Like casually bringing up a character in a conversation isn't normal or breaking out into a Disney song.
I've learned a lot over the past few months though and am definitely not the girl I was when I left. But I think its for the better possibly? :)

Cast Member no more?
Nooooooo. I cant believe it! I am officially done working! I have one full day left in Florida! Where the heck has this year gone?
This past couple of days was a tad bit sad. Obviously. Sunday I worked until a quarter after 3 in the morning. THE MORNING! Ah. I work Magic Kingdom it's not out of the ordinary. The park was open until 2 for Extra Magic Hours and Danny and Bianca were the other two who stayed late with me (only one store in the zone I was in is open for EMH) We had a blast. Bianca was thugging up all these Disney songs then Danny would opera-fy them. I was dying. (clearly the park gets a little slow that late into the night.) Monday I closed and Tuesday i closed. Tuesday the parks hours got extended from 11 to 12 so us closing shift was force extended until 1:30. That was kinda annoying because I had to be back in exactly 8 hours to start my next shift. Tuesday was my last day in Zone 1 meaning the stores meaning...my pixie dust! Hopping on the shuttle to go back to West clock the Adventureland glow peeps were on the shuttle. I saw Haley who funny story one day I was sitting with her on break and realized she goes to BYU-ever since then I've seen her at church and what not but anyway shes in Adventureland and she was like "Umm I heard you leave soon" and I was like "Yep tomorrow is my last day" and so we made plans on how we have to hang out when she goes back to school because shes working until August. Then once the shuttle pulled into West clock an Adventureland coordinator spotted me and she was in the back and I was about in the middle and suddenly I hear "MADISON!" and so i look around and as the doors open and people start piling out of the bus I spot her just waving away and I get all excited and wave and suddenly the back half of the shuttle decide to join in by calling my name and waving to me. I'm such a rockstar! Today was my last day and I was in my least favorite zone but it was fine. It was a rainy day so I got to spend my last day doing my ever so favorite poncho selling. *insert lots of sarcasm!*
I have hated saying goodbye to people though as the days go by. I've made such fantastic friends and I dont want to say goodbye!
Tomorrow i'm playing at the park all day and I have to say goodbye to my parade and Wishes. A tear may or may not get shed. :(
I'm so excited to get home and see my family and get out of this ghetto I have been living in. But so not ready to give up the Disney life and friends!! :(

Yo Ho Yo Ho a Pirates Life for Me....
What a week. I had 60 hours of work this week. Let me tell you this, I am exhausted! I was yet again in Adventureland and the working long shifts there is the most miserable thing because it's so slow. And then long shifts in Pirates sucks because you are in the same place hours on end. All in all the week went by really fast and my paycheck is going to rock!
Monday night I got off work a quarter to 8 and Barb and Kristen were off so we decided to hit up MK obviously. We had plans (I had plans) to research the ever so attractive Adventureland hottie. We joked around we would be doing the Tikki Room at least 7 times but lucky for the other two and sadly for me, no sight of Adventureland hottie. So we rode some rides, watched some Wishes, the usual. We then decided to hit up the fairies and there was absolutely no wait so we sat and chatted with Tinkerbell and Rosetta for a few minutes. Talked about Vista Way and how we worked there.
Tuesday Kristen and I had a day off so we started it with a trip to Downtown Disney to research a boy. We got the response "no one here by that name works here" Kristen was like....uhh i've seen him here. That's how I met him. Anyway so he's a figment of her imagination so we ventured to the MK once more to watch my fantastic 3 0'clock parade. The day had been a little rainy so I feared they would do the rainy day parade and not my parade. We were at the starting point but as soon as it started it started to sprinkle so I was worried the dancers would bounce but they stayed and I saw my parade. Wahoo. But Cinderella's float was MIA so it's a good thing I will see it one more time! :) We then got in line to meet Merida and she was so cute. I was wearing my paper plane necklace and while waiting the character attendant was like it reminds me of the Paperman and I was like oh my gosh yeah! and then thats the first thing Merida said and she was like maybe if I met someone like him i would let him shoot for my arm. Then she points to another character attendnat and she was like what about him? Do you think I should let him and I was like "ehh.." and she leans in and was like "it's alright, he plays for the other team" hahaha I couldnt stop laughing. She was fantastic. Then we went to meet the Princesses cause Kristen needed Rapunzels autograph and as soon as we walked in the room Rapunzel was in the front corner greeting a guest so we couldnt see her so Kristen stopped and was like "WHERES RAPUNZEL?" like about to have a meltdown. It was hilarious. Then she came into view so all was right in the world again. We then ventured to Adventureland to see the ever amazing Aladdin and it was hilarious! Aladdin was hiding from Kristen and Jasmine was like he thinks you're a sandwhich and Kristen was like "WHAT?" and Jasmine was like oh not the edible kind and then she went off on a story of what a sandwhich was and I was cracking up.
Kristen then got the great idea to go ask a cast member if the Adventureland hottie was working. Yeah, no he was off. Apparently he was the only one in all of Magic Kingdom to have two days off this week. Then we went over and met Tiana and Naveen and Kristen had been using a Rapunzel pen to get the autographs so when Kristen was up she was talking to Tiana and Naveen was like how do I use this pen? so I call out you have to pull the hair off, meaning the end of the hair but he thought the head so he starts pulling at the head and Kristen, Tiana, and I all call out "NOOO!" and once again I couldnt stop laughing. Naveen was tramatized. When I went up for a picture he was like "Suddenly just three girls were yelling at me!"
Kristen and I then did some adult like things like ride rides and then got in line for some ice cream before the projection show and it was our lucky day because we got free ice cream! YAY! The cast members were practicing how to twirl it so bam! Free ice cream for us! Celebrate the Magic was amazing. Wishes was amazing.
Wednesday-Saturday I brutally worked. Thursday night I was working in Agrabah right by the CDS and Katie was stocking so she was sitting there talking to me and Adventureland hottie walked back to the cds when we didnt see because honestly, we had been playing with a bubble gun. hahaha. Anyway Katie goes to the back and comes out and goes "Maaaaadison you're boyfriend is at the CDS!" The door was still cracked open so he obviously heard. I yelled at her. Friday the park was open 24 hours for Monstrous Summer. What a disaster. I got stuck at the dumb cart hours on end and I hate that cart. I was there for fireworks which I loved and I met some great guests who I really enjoyed talking to. but besides that I felt like I was holding up a sign saying "HI! Come complain to me about the parks crowd!" So annoying. I was scheduled to get off at 1 AM but not enough people showed up for the land so we had to close at 1 so I was there till 2 helping close up. Saturday I was in Pirates all day and the managers and coordinators were coming up to me and was like "Is this your last day with us?" And I would be like "Yup. Forever." and they would be sad because they love me! :) there is also one coordinator who everytime he sees me he calls me Madison square garden. Like i'll walk by and he'll just be like "Madison Square Garden." and i'm like..hi.
Today was my last Sunday in Florida and I really cant believe how fast time has gone. It was great to see the missionaries because let's be honest, they have been a huge blessing in my life while here in Florida. I'm so glad I get to spend my last couple of days back in Fantasyland.

Hottie Mc-Hot Hot
Well this past week I was in Adventureland and it was whatever. Nothing cool, nothing exciting. JUST KIDDING. I love when I show up in Adventureland and the managers are like "Oh hey! Welcome back!" or i'm talking to another cast member and make some comment on being deployed and they are like "But i've seen you here before" My favorite is when the thailand girls saw me and they just started laughing and were like "oh my gosh. You came back." (in their thick accent) haha so funny. One night I walked down to the Utilidor and my glow friends were down there and they were like "MADISON YOU'RE HERE!" And I just glared at them and they were like "IN ADVENTURELAND..." And I was like uh ya i'm back next week too and then we all had to try to compare schedules to see if we ever work together. But not really because they are all glow. All the time. Everyday all day. Just kidding I think it got solved I do get to work with a couple of them thank goodness. Anyway on day this week besides stocking Pirates I also stocked Adventureland (the land as they say) a few days later and it was so boring. My Fan-land friend was stocking squeeze breeze in the Utilidor so I would just take my sweet time talking to him each time I had to go down. Then some Adventureland friends had the day off and stopped by and one friend had all these Happy Birthday buttons but they were random like they had Mulan and Hannah Montana and just the most random names and it was hilarious. He then made me make him 5 new ones...one for each member of One Direction. Of course I was happy to oblige! Also on Thursday (this stocking day) I was in the back stockroom right by where Aladdin and Jasmine hang out when they are off stage and in walks Jasmine. in walks Aladdin. and....in walks the Genie. I about jumped 10 feet it scared me. I've never seen the genie outside the parade before. I was like what in the world. Then on Friday Jasmine was flying solo and it was heartbreaking...not for her for me! BUT....I did see my Adventureland hottie and thats always an amazing time. Later that night Kristen gave me this huge pep talk on how i needed to talk to him and blah blah blah. Because all we do is walk past each other and smile. Which I mean that sounds like a pretty solid relationship just saying. So Saturday came and I had a 12.5 hour shift. I'm sorry but in Adventureland thats miserable because it's so slow! I wasn't by the register where Aladdin's meet and greet is once while he was there but I did see him in the back a few times and he would wave to me so i'm just saying...we're in love. I finally got by that register at night though and that register is by the door that people use to get to the computer. I waited patiently for Adventureland hottie to walk by and nothing...just standing there because there were no guests even near me. Oh hey...what up there comes a guest wanting to check out some pins. and oh hey..to my right, there goes Adventureland hottie to the back. Perfect timing. I smiled at him as he walked by cause obviously I was talking to a guest..I couldnt shaft her. She then left because the pins were a disapointment and I stood there and out walks Adventureland hottie. He walked right past me, smiled and said hi. Solid. Talk about being in love. No but seriously-he's a total babe. Then I sat and played with a fake snake that makes everyone think is real and I was scaring like a billion people and it was hilarious and I would like pretend to make it jump at little kids as they would come to pet it to see if it was real and I was finding way too much joy in this. THEN...I was sitting there bored outta my mind with my pet snake and this little boy just sat staring at me and his mom was like oh you see the snake. So I sat and talked to him (well mostly his mom because he just sat and stared at me) He did finally tell me he was 4 years old though and shared the story about how he was swimming and grabbed a shark by it's tale. I was like uhh..you wont pet my rubber snake but you can grab sharks? And the mom was telling me how they just watched Indiana Jones and Indiana is scared of Snakes so I kept calling him Indiana jones. He would sit and like almost glare at me though and it was hilarious so I would be like "dont smile. Dont you dare smile" and he was start smiling and it was so cute. Finally after a good 15 minutes they started walking away but he got stopped by the cool music instruments we have. He picked one up and ran over to show me. He then gave me one and we put together a band. The mom and I were just cracking up so much and other cast members would walk by, stop to talk to him (but mostly the mom cause she was the only one who would talk) and then go on their way. Oh man he was killing me. I asked him if he would please stay in Disney with me and he just shook his head like girl you're crazy! Finally the mom got him to go on the Magic Carpets which is right across from the store and said they could wave to me as they went by. We started closing the store but I watched them as they got off the ride. The mom as they walked by was like "Mason wave bye to your friend" and he just started running away but then looked back waved and kept running. haha such a fun kid. Oh then I finally got to go home and I was sitting on the bus and the Adventureland hottie got on and BAM started talking to someone and yeah...he's got an accent. It's Australian and well I also said I needed a Brit but i'm willing to make this sacrifice.
Anyway-My life is clearly a joke.
Anyway-My life is clearly a joke.

Hey if the crown fits..
Alrighty well...last Saturday was Merida's coordination. Now, for those of you who dont know who Merida is shame on you. She is from Brave. (Which confession. I'm not the biggest fan of-mostly because i'm too hopeless of a romantic and I need a love story and that movie had none. NONE! Where is a dashing Scottish prince for her?) ANYWAY-that was a lot of fun. Merida is officially a Princess. My favorite people from the Ellen show Sophia Grace and Rosie were there and they sang a little song and Debby Ryan from the Disney Channel was there filming something. Olympic medalist Gabby Douglas and her mom talked during the ceremony so I mean..fun day of celebrities. Of course the real celebrity that day was Merida. :)After the coordination my friend Stephanie, her friend Jason, and I set off to go play in the park. Jason seems to know everyone and their dog so he got us like a billion fast passes for Splash Mountain. We only rode it 3 times though. Stephanie then had to go to work so I went back to the apartment. I was home for about two hours before Kayla, Barb and i set off to MK once again to watch Wishes for Kayla's last time since she is leaving in just a few days. We got our graduation ears em-bordered (had to run up to my store for that of course) and passed one of my favorite cast members Michael who was on his glow cart infront of the castle. Might I add this night I had decided I would do a British accent all night long and unlike my roommates-Michael appreciated it. So anyway then we headed over to Thunder but it was down (it had actually gone down when I was there earlier and was down the rest of the night) there was a cast member there holding the giant SMILE sign so I got a picture with him-never breaking out of my accent might I add. Then I asked Barb if the picture looked alright and he was like "well of course you do" and I was like Oh my gosh you are so sweet. Haha it's the accent man. Not only does it get girls when the guys do it-apparently it picks up boys for the girls! :) Anyway we watched some Wishes, rode some rides, had some fun, visited that cute little mouse named Mickey. the usual.
Sunday off to Pirates I went for a stock shift. After Pirates I came home and then was like ya know what...i'm gonna go get my Princess bag signed. I was planning on doing it the next day but decided I would go get some signatures in so I wouldn't have so many to do on Monday. So Kayla came with me and we hit up the Theater and Ariels grotto. I didn't need Rapunzels signature cause she isnt on my bag but she was the cutest Rapunzel ever! She was jumping all over the place and what not. I loved her! Then I moved on and got Aurora's and Cinderella's signature. We then rushed over to Ariels grotto and man I get so excited to meet her each time. She was so cute as well. She looked at the bag and was like "AH THERE I AM!" haha then we rode some rides and away we went. The next I got up early to finish the quest to get the bag signed. I hit up Jasmine and Aladdin and dang let me say this Aladdin was HILARIOUS! He was tapping on my shoulder so I would look the other way and saying the funniest stuff. He impersonated Snow White, Merida, and Jasmine and I was dying. He taught me some fun facts and when he noticed i didn't have Snow White's signature yet he was like "Uh oh. Dont tell her I made fun of her" hahaha. Love Aladdin. Jasmine was so fun too. I then went over to Epcot to hit up Snow White and Belle. I had been waiting for this moment to meet Belle for a long time. This is because it's the only place to meet her and......She's in her blue dress which I just love and adore and just ah! She was so cute! Before I left she was like "can I have a hug?" And in my head im like what the..i've never seen a princess ask anyone over the age of like 8 for a hug. I then naturally had to take a stroll through England and Mary Poppins and Alice were out so I naturally had to get a picture with them. I then swung by the Grand Floridian because that was something I told myself I had to do was go inside it. It's amazing and I want to stay there one day! Later that night I went back to Epcot to watch their firework show because I actually hadn't yet. And i'm sorry but I had been told Illuminations was better than Wishes but those people were on crack! NO WAY! Wishes kicks trash! It was a good show though and I stood by a cute boy so brownie points!
Today Kayla and I hit up Animal Kingdom in the morning. We rode Everest a few times, met Pochantos, rode Dinosaur (which made me miss Indiana Jones in Disneyland) did the Safari and watched the Lion King show which was awesome! I came home, took a nap, then went to Hollywood Studios with Kristen and some of her friends. We did some rides, ate some food, and watched the beloved Fantasmic!
Sadly I dont have another day off till next Tuesday and it will be my last day off! :( Next week is a killer week with 60 hours and i'm in Adventureland again. I'm actually really sad this time because with the end of my program near I want to be in my homeland so bad-plus all the friends i've made in Adventureland do the glow carts!
-Alright i'm sorry this was such a long post! Thats what happens when I have to cover four days off! Cant believe I only have one more schedule to get and it's only half a week. Ahh.

Ahh.

Whistle While I Work...
Alright so heres the thing-
No matter where I go I seem to be the target of a joke. For example. The other day I was working in the Winnie the Pooh shop (cleverly named Hundred Acres Goods) and in the stock room you can hear the same part of the ride over and over again. "I'll save ya Piglet" "Oh no! A very big waterfall!" Alright most annoying thing in the world. If there are ever at least two of you in the stock room you just sit and quote it over and over to each other. Alright well..this ride seems to go down a bit. "Spilled honey" as we like to say. You can walk back in the stock room not hear that and go oh..rides down. So the other day I was out on the floor merchentaining..holding Pooh in one hand while the other hand is behind his shirt so it looks like he is really waving. The kids absolutely love it. Anyway I was out doing that and a maintance worker comes in looks at me and goes "Did you make the ride go down? What did you do?" And I was like oh..sorry man. Couldnt help it. THEN...I was in Castle another day just chatting with a photo pass person and he was pretending to shoot me with his scanner and I was like "How much do i cost?" and he was like "It wont go that low" I sat there for a moment and then realized what he meant so I was like HEY! and he just busted up laughing. See people. I dont even know these people and they pick on me!
Anyway that was a random tangent. So...last week it was a very rainy week. Like one day I met with the missionaries and they didnt have a guy with them so we sat on my porch as it rained. Oh and PS...they said I was basically perfect. Something i've been trying to tell my mom for years! :) After they left Barb and I headed to Magic Kingdom. Because of the rain there were absolutely NO lines! We rode every ride twice-most the time without getting off. It was a blast!
So...i've stocked Castle twice this past week and am deployed to Adventureland once again next week! I have two stock shifts over there and i'm like you kidding me? This isnt my land! I dont know the way you stock things or whatever. Frustrating. So Tuesday I was supposed to go to Olly Murs concert but low behold it was sold out. I was so sad. I was looking forward to it so much! So Katie and I went to Magic Kingdom to go play instead. Katie made me experience for my first time ever the Tikki Room and The Carousal of Progress. Also a first was the Jungle Cruise at night...just saying its different then the day alright!? Then yesterday-Wednesday- I was working and my manager from Utah was like you guys thanks so much for being in front of the registers and I was like yeah what are you doing back there? Ad he was like "HEY! I will send you back to Utah where you belong!...just kidding. I wouldnt do that to anyone!" Hahahaha I laughed so hard.
Yesterday was also graduation for the program. It was so early because they just had two days of graduations for everyone leaving in May and early June. It was a lot of fun. Kristen, Barb and I went (the original three) and had a lot of fun even though Kristen bounced early because her mom and aunt are in town. The graduation party consisted of getting a certificate, some mickey ears, (I officially earned my ears woop woop) eating some food, dance parties, random flags for pictures, a photo booth and of course....a graduation picture with Mickey and Minnie. It was a blast!
Then today I worked and a girl gave me her debit card to pay and BAM! I was like wait a second..I have this same card! She goes to my school and is here on vacation! It was exciting! I love meeting people from Utah. But I love meeting people from England more! When I give them back their change and they go Brill or Cheers or Lovely I just about die. Seriously people....like let me come home with you PLEASE!
Anyway I have 2.5 weeks left in Florida! I cant believe it!

Celebrate A Dream Inside of You!
So......this is my favorite parade in the whole entire world. I'm dedicating this blog post to it because sadly next year it will no longer exist. Yes I am heart broken. Not sure why considering I wont even be around and the new parade they are getting is going to be all about Fantasyland! [Wahoo] but come on...how can you not love this parade? I may have watched it enough times that I even know the dance moves..no regrets people. No regrets. "Wow did Genie make up that word?" ....."All it takes is faith and trust.....and just a little bit of pixie dust!"
Ahh...feel the magic people. Feel the magic!

Nay Nay
Alright so apparently i've been slacking on my blogging. I mean obviously but all I do is work and sleep basically with occasionally eating. Plus my life is the same over and over again I feel like. But because a certain someone get mad at me to update more (cough Hillary cough) i'm updating this for her. So ALLEN...you better enjoy this update!
Anyway so this week I have been back in Fantasyland as i've said in my previous post. Sunday and Monday was really rainy but now the weather is fantastic! This whole week i've been closing except for Sunday. Monday night I went to hop on the shuttle to take me to Westclock and my Adventureland friends were on there. I broke the news to them that for the first time in a long time i wouldnt be deployed there and they were like "wait-you arent deployed right now?" meaning I was deployed to Fantasyland. Anyway I then get on the bus and I see my Thailand friends from Adventureland and they really were confused on why I was wearing the Fantasyland costume and thought I picked up a shift there. I was like oh no..I really work there. hahaha it was so funny. Then the next night when I went down to tea in the Mouse there were a group of Fantasyland peeps and I sat down and this kid Josh was like "Wait, Madison? You mean you actually work in Fantasyland?" and then just being sassy was like "do you like Adventureland? Do you wish you were back?" and then a cordinator from adventureland walked by and said hi to me and looks at me and was like "Adventureland?" and I was like yeah. and he just shook his head and then a little later the money room people from Adventureland walked by and said hi and once they were gone I just started laughing and I was like "Hey, it's not my fault I got sent to Adventureland." It was rather funny. Then that night a group of us went to Ihop. Yummy.
The next night the park randomly closed at 9. Which was awesome! And a group of us went to Dennys.
Then yesterday I had a 3.5 hour class on the basic keys. There were four of us from Fantasyland and we sat at a table with 2 Tomorrowland peeps. I was dreading it but it was actually pretty fun cause we were just cracking up. I had a fun table. And at one point our instructor said nay nay instead of no for something and my table lost it. And for the rest of the day everytime I would see them I would give them the disney point and say "Nay nay" New favorite saying. The instructor was like "man i'm never gonna live that down am i?"
Then after class while working I saw a girl in a Utes shirt and I was like "You're from Utah?" anyway turns out her and her friend were from Brigham. I was like "Ah my rivals!" and they were like Oh yeah we know all about Treetown! haha it was so fun! Then when we were closed for fireworks (one of my favorite things about Fantasyland haha!) a group of us were talking about celebrities the others had seen while working here since they'd been there for a while and i'm forever jealous because one of the ladies used to work Space Mountain and saw Princess Diana and William and Harry! Okay thats the coolest thing ever!! Then we got talking about celebrites we would lose our job over. hahaha it was so entertaining! One boy said Julie Andrews and he was like i would go up to her and be like "Mary Poppins! How is Genovia this time of year?" And I lost it. I dont know why but I thought it was so funny!
Anyway. Good times. I'm days away from only having a month left! it's gonna fly!!!

Making the magic
Well howdy there folks! I honestly dont remember what I last talked about (maybe I should have viewed my blog before starting an entry) so i'm just gonna recap real fast then share a story! Wahoo!
Alright last week I was in Adventureland yet again. I love it over there though, I love the people who work over there and the managers are great. I dont even get mad when I get deployed there now. :) So yeah...I worked Adventureland. Had some sword fights. Had some boys try to decapitate my head. Met a guest who was on his senior trip and talked to him for a while all about the DCP program. Funny kid, so that was fun. And yeah. Then yesterday after work I went and played at the park with Katie, one of my very favorite people I have met here at Disney. I also met her in Adventureland. Katie and I went and bothered all the glow cart people because they are Adventureland people and then rode some rides...I also even went on Splash Mountain. Didnt even get wet. I guess thats what happens when its 11 o'clock at night-right when the park closes and its just the two of you and two strangers and you get your own row so you sit in the very middle. Rockstar. Anyway so yeah works been work. Nothing too fantastic.
Today I was back in Fantasyland-Zone 2. Zone 2 is my least favorite zone (The Winnie the Pooh shop and two outdoor carts) well it was a rainy day and I was on the porch at Pooh-meaning the register thats well..outside the shop. But still under a roof so dont worry folks-i didnt get wet! Actually this story happened before it started to really rain-so sorry for getting a head of myself-please forgive me! Anyway so the Winnie the Pooh ride had just gone down and they even evacuated the ride, meaning it obviously had an issue that would take a while. So the shop was pretty empty because no one was coming off from the ride. My manager came up to talk to me to warn me some guests might be grumpy haha (he also happens to be my favorite manager because he's from Utah. But thats beside the point). Anyway he were talking for a while he left for a couple minutes then came back and we talked some more. Finally we see a family walk towards the store and a little boy maybe like 7 just crying. My manager was like uh oh whats wrong? And the mom in broken English (i'm guessing they were from Europe, like Sweden or something-awesome!) she said all the little boy wanted was to ride the Winnie the Pooh ride and it was down. My manager was like well there are no tears at Disney so he pulls out his No Strings book and wrote the family a No Strings in order for them to get on the ride without waiting in line once the ride got started back up. They then went into the shop to look around and we were talking about how we were hoping so much that the ride would reopen soon because this little boy seriously broke our hearts. My manager was like lets go get him a plush. So we wrote up another No Strings for this little boy and gave him a free Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal. They were leaving the shop and we stopped them and gave the little boy this stuffed animal. He was so excited and just beamed up at me as he thanked me. My manager then got word the ride should be up and running soon so we told them this and they left so happy. My manager then left and once I saw people dumping back into the store from the ride my eyes were fixed on that door waiting for this family. Finally I saw them come in and they shopped around for a bit. I was then brought a new assignment but I couldnt leave until I talked to this family. Finally as they left the store with some purchases I asked the little boy how the ride was. He just grinned as he told me it was great and his older sister said he was definitely on top of the world right then. The mom then thanked me over and over again and said how we not only saved the little boys vacation- but saved their vacation. She then told me the little boy had been saving for a year in order to have money for this trip and he left with the biggest Eeyore stuffed animal that was half his size. The family thanked me once more before carrying on their way.
Moments like this make my job so much worthwhile and honestly will probably miss the most! I love helping create the magic!

Falling behind
My bad. I have been so busy with Spring Break that I havent had time to update. And when I actually do have what little spare time I have i'm too lazy to sit down and write. Hahaha oops. I'm actually still feeling that way so this update is going to be in a nutshell. Maybe. I might get carried away. Last week I joined my good ole Adventureland friends once more and guess what...i'm returning again. Haha I love Adventureland so i'm not even mad! :) Last week my parents and little sister came to visit! It was fun and I got what little vacation I will get while here.
I first want to share a work story and how i'm an idiot. So I was in a store working and there was just me and one other cast member in this store. This kid was hilarious with his interactions with the guests. and yeah..he had a british accent. Finally I was like alright where are you from? Because we all know I like to think I know England geographically. So the nametag said some place I wasnt aware of. He told me it was just about 40 miles outside of London and I just went off on my love for England and he kept trying to make me do my attempt at an accent but I wouldnt because hello...he's a native. I would look like a fool. Anyway another girl brings his rotation and he leaves me to go to another store. He waves goodbye and away he goes-my new British friend. She turns to me and goes "man isnt he funny" and i'm like uh duh. and she was like you know he's not really British right? And i was like uhh....wait what? And she was like yeah he just pretends he's British. He got a nametag made for it and everything. Alright I felt like such an idiot because I went off on my love for his so called country. A couple hours later I saw him and he was like "ello Madison" and I was like I hate you. And he was so confused and I was like YOU ARENT BRITISH! And he busted up laughing and started talking normal! I was like what the heck man!?
So the next day he was the one following me in the rotation...meaning he was the one that kept bringing me my new assignment. Each time he would come to me he would just start laughing and I would just glare at him. Finally he was like "Ah Madison-dont be mad at me" (in his accent) I was like oh man. fine. I forgive you. He finally got his bumpout and had a couple minutes to spare before he could clockout so he sat and talked to me. I was like what the heck do you do when an actual English person talks to you. He told me he just goes with it and if they mention like a place there he just makes up something like "Oh that must be new" or "I havent been back in a while" Or something dumb to cover his tracks. He legit tries to fool everyone. He then tried to get me to do my accent again but I still refused. He was like you know the first time I met you I was talking normal and you just stood here and was like "Aladdin is so fine" Haha this was like two weeks before and I couldnt believe he remembered it but once he mentioned it I remembered it as well. Such a fool. But now folks...there really is a foreigner in Adventureland...so if you ever go...you wont know which one is real and which one is the fake. Keeping the magic alive! :)
While my parents were here we took a day and went to Universal. I went to the Harry Potter land and oh my gosh it was awesome! The ride that is in Hogwarts is probably one of my favorite rides ever! I thought it was a blast!!
The weather here in Florida has been perfect! Not too hot (well there are some moments when I think i'm gonna melt) but ah. I'm loving this Florida life. Cant believe I leave next month!

Catching Up
Alright everyone i'm sorry it's been a while. I've been crazy busy. Lets see I had my birthday! The week of my birthday I was deployed to Adventureland. I spent my 20th birthday by attending church (such a good child I am) then hitting up Magic Kingdom before my shift started. Barb (Jessica) and I went to the Be Our Guest restaurant to eat lunch. This restaurant is quick service by day and sit down by night. It is absolutely amazing! The inside is decorated like the Beasts' castle and seriously it was incredible. I loved it. So glad I spent my birthday there. After such a short time in the park I started my Adventureland deployment. I worked the Pirates gift shop that day and absolutely loved it. I got paid to have sword fights with guests. Adventureland also is where Aladdin is. So in the other zone I was able to just stare at Aladdin and occasionally run into him backstage. I loved Adventureland and made some good friends there. One night at pirates me and a cast member were joking around as we helped a guest at the register. This guest was like "All you guys have the same personality" and we kinda looked at each other like..uhh is that good? And then she was like "You guys are so fun" So we were like oh okay..it is good. Also in adventureland I could hear the firework music perfectly so ya..I definitely enjoyed my time there. I'm actually deployed there again next week and i'm a little upset because I am deployed once again and its so frustrating but I am so glad it's Adventureland because like I said..I loved it!
This Sunday I was back in Fantasyland and on my way to work this huge storm hit. I guess Florida was under some Tornado warning and it really was scary. I can imagine that's what weather gets like before a hurricane or something. Super winding and rain just pounding down. I then stepped in a puddle (Huge puddle that was completely unavoidable-trust me I tried) on my way to work so my feet and shoes were soppin wet the first few hours of work. Also this day I got extended so my 9 hour shift got changed into an 11 hour shift. I was beat.
Tuesday I walked into the Pooh shop to start my shift and found out I had missed Katie Holmes and Suri by ten minutes. I was pretty sad. I mean...celebrities are my thing. I had just barely missed them....barely!
Yesterday though everything turned excellent and was the high lite of my career so far in Disney. Why? Because Katie Holmes and Suri came in the store and they came to the side I was on, the less busier side, and I was able to Pixie Dust Suri while a cast member wrung up Katie's purchase. She bought Suri I crown so I cut the crown off and talked to Suri about Jasmine (thats whose crown it was) Katie was answering some of the questions I was asking Suri and then ironic was small talk is about the weather...we seriously talked about the weather. Haha its fine. I talked about the weather with Katie Holmes. I'm not even mad. I met Katie Holmes in a chicken skirt and once again...i'm not even mad. Haha it was awesome! Katie and Suri were both nice so I mean... that's exciting!
Anyway I have gotten no voice currently. Today at work dragged on because when I dont have a voice my own voice is so annoying to me. So every single time I talked to a guest which lets be honest..is constant...it sounded awful. My voice just got worse as time went on too. Even one of my managers was like "Oh..you dont sound good at all" Oh perfect. My voice is absolutely shot. Tomorrow is FINALLY my Friday thought after a 9 day week. I only get one day off but my family comes next week so i'm ready to finally get sort of a vacation...sort of. Not really though because i still gotta work!

Days Off
Alright so I had a few days off and for once I had a Sunday and a Monday off. It was so nice to have Sunday off-I finally got my beloved Sunday nap! After I found out my friend would be working in Magic Kingdom and I made a quick trip to visit her as she was working with the princesses. I got some sweet treatment and didnt have to wait in the line-i mean VIP status. Anyway I got to chat with Rapunzel, Aurora and Cinderella. Pretty fun. As I walked out the Electric parade was starting so I watched that for a couple minutes and realized the wait to see Mickey was only 5 minutes. so I went to see him as well. I mean duh. It's Mickey! Jokes were passed around from the attendants that I got dressed from Mickeys closet that day considering I was wearing matching red pants....i mean guilty I guess. haha
Anyway today was Monday which means my favorite day of the week now because...volleyball! Oh man it is such a blast! Obviously. The weather was beautiful and everyone brought their A-Game. Okay not really. The ball kept dropping at our feets and we would just look at it and be like "okay...and now we start a real game" next serve "okay..and now we start the real game" haha its so great! After Volleyball I came home and got ready for the day while the roommates were at Grocery bingo. Then afterwords Alex, Barb, Kristen and me headed over to Hollywood Studios. We were able to walk straight on to Tower of Terror (perks of Alex working there) and then wandered over to the backlot tour. We waited in line and made it to the very front of the line before we got cut off and had to wait for the next group. Alex begged for them to let us in because she had to get to work later and wanted to make sure she wouldnt be pushing the time. The guy ended up having us star in the show where we like reinact some a Pearl Harbor scene. Mike-our acting instructor I guess you could say (and totally a babe. I didnt really hear what he said cause I was too busy staring at his face) Anyway while Mike instructed us what to do he told Barb for her role all she had to do is sit in the chair, talk on the phone, and dont look left. Anyway he takes us to our stations and Barb got to do her scene first. Alex, Kristen and I were waiting on the boat while Barb got to do her scene. Suddenly we see this huge wave of water head straight for her booth and see her jump out of the booth saying "I quit" The three of us almost lost it then. Like no joke I thought I was for sure gonna pee my pants I was laughing so hard. Suddenly it was our time to shine. Alex was the captain and Kristen and I was the deck members. (also known as the Comic relief) It was so fun but suddenly water was flying everywhere and I remember grabbing Kristen in like a death grip hug and not letting go until the firing stopped. Then the guy in the microphone was like "but wait..they arent done" and I just grabbed my hood and like crouched down..trying so hard not to get wet. It was hilarious. We were all laughing so hard. The cast who worked with us was very entertained by us as well! As we were done one cast member was like "who was the mechanic?" And we point to Barb and he was like "what happened to not standing up?" hahaha it was so funny! As we left we passed the Hannah Montana the movie chicken coop. Pretty legit. Just saying! Be jealous.
We then ate and all the shows were over by this time of night so we decided to go try out the Movie ride or something like that. We asked the people how long the wait was and they said half hour and we were like oh no we arent waiting in that and so the guy was like "just go the backway" and we were like what are you taling about? And so the girl took us like through a backdoor straight to the front of the line. We were like "do we scream CP or something?" and she was like no we had no idea. hahaha man our luck was just on a roll or something.
After this we went to get a seat for Fantasmic. Once we got a seat Barb and I ran over to Tower of Terror once more to visit Alex working. We got Alex's elevator and it was hilarious! Some drunk guy was in the elevator with us and while waiting he was like Oh i saw you hug your girlfriend you were like (insert drunk guy hugging us here) haha seriously hugged us. Then he was asking where we were from and when I said Utah he was like hmm? Gold. Thats what Utah has right? and another guy in his party was like Mormons. They have mormons. And the drunk guy was like oh ya like you guys have those huge like music places (Im not sure if he was referring to temples or like the conference center or something) but either way I said yes. And another girl in the party was like shes probably Mormon and I was like yeah I am and the drunk guy was like oh ya..you guys and your husbands. I was like oh no...just one. We just get one husband. By then the conversation ended because Alex came to load us up. We were having a blast giving Alex a hard time but she just fired back at us obviously. Such a blast.
Then off to Fantasmic we go. It was similar to Disneylands a little except I do like they have an amphitheater for it but there was different parts like they had a Pocahontas scene which I thought was rad. And on the boat at the end they had Meg from Hercules which I thought was like rad times 9. After Fantasmic we headed home. Such a fun and successful day I would say!
Had to post some Fantasmic...this music NEVER EVER gets old. La la love it to pieces!!!!

Last week
Alright Alright...time to share my experience at Main Street East.
Well lets be honest...it wasnt exciting. I was so confused that first day because I got my first assignment in the jewelry store and I was sooo confused. Guests kept asking me all these questions and I had no idea what they were asking-i'm like hold on a second and had to go ask someone else. So many other people were deployed so it would take me like at least three tries until I found someone who actually knew the answer regarding the jewelry. I absolutely love the point though that one night I was at a cart during the electrial parade and another night I was at another cart for the Castle show and the fireworks...I mean how amazing is this? I'm getting paid to experience the Disney experience. Woot woot! I was able to make some friends at Main Street and even had a conversation about One Direction with a fellow cast member who is a boy might I add..and not gay. So I mean...no big deal or anything. And he was the one pursuing the conversation not me...I actually had to end it because once he asked me who the drummer was and I was able to answer it I made him stop the conversation because I was looking too creepy. Hahaha! (But seriously...the name of the Drummer. In real life thats not creepy-but you can never be too careful!)
I'll never complain about the hours I have to work again though because Main Street has it much worse. This is because they are open an hour after the rest of the park. One night I was at the bus stop all by myself at 2 in the morning...it was so sketchy but I survived. No but seriously...it was sketchy!
Also I dont remember if I mentioned this or not but the last night working on Main Street I discovered a girl I had been working with was also from UVU. Talk about an instant friendship. No but really-we were both pretty excited but bummed we discovered it like ten minutes before clocking out! UVU is the school of champions my friends...the school of champions!
Anyway that was my Main Street adventure. And stay tuned folks..because i've discovered next week i'm deployed once again! It's pretty frusterating but oh well-what are you going to do? I'm just hoping some people from Fantasyland are deployed there as well because it was so nice to have two other cast members from Fantasyland deployed with me to Main street!

Where Dreams come True
This past week two things have happened that really prove the point that Disney is where dreams come true and anything can happen..that basically it's a magical place! One I was apart of..the other I just heard about.
The first one happened on Monday. I was working Main Street as everyone is aware of and the park didnt close till 12 that night, meaning Main Street didn't close till 1. It was about 12:30 and hardly anyone was in the store I was in. So a group of cast members was sitting around talking about the normal stuff...who is each others favorite Princesses. A lady (maybe in 50's) walked in and one of the cast members was like oh whats your input. You know..engaging the guest and all. So once we get her talking we find out that midnight marked the beginning of her birthday so we sang Happy Birthday to her. Then the news came out....she was here for her birthday all by herself-she didnt have any family. And she didnt have a magical night that far..so she told us she wasnt going to come back to Magic Kingdom but we had completely turned everything around and that she will never forget us wonderful cast members. It was a pretty neat experience just saying-glad I could be apart of it.
Then yesterday at the end of the night meeting a cast member shared a story of what happened that day. (still Main Street. Last day working there though). Anyway so he said he was talking to a family and found out the little boy didnt believe in Mickey Mouse. Well thats just not acceptable obviously. So he asked if he had met Mickey yet and the little boy was like well no. Well lucky for the cast member we work connected to the building where you meet Mickey. So this cast member took the family straight to Mickey-VIP status man, forget the line. He told some other cast members the situation so as they went on their way cast members were telling the little boy how Mickey said he was coming and all that fun stuff. Anyway so the cast member waited at the door for when the family was done meeting Mickey. I guess the little boy came out with a huge grin on his face and when the cast member asked if he believed in Mickey now the little boy definitely did.
Seriously...creating moments and memories like this. My job is pretty great!

Monday Funday
As I said in my last post-this week I am deployed to Main Street East. Ugh. Lame and I hate it. Yesterday was my first day there and I mean fine whatever I guess its not that bad and stuff but I miss Fantasyland. Mainly because here I was thrown into an unknown environment and expected to work like I knew what is happening in that neck of the woods. I felt like an idiot anytime someone would ask me a question and I had to go ask someone else for help. Oh well..four more days.
Anyway this morning I went and played some Volleyball with the Mormon crew..aka members and the Missionaries. Apparently this is something they do every Monday and you best believe I will be attending from now on. This is because I had a blast. It was so much fun, I honestly dont think I have laughed that hard in months. At one point one of the Elders was like "Ah, Mormon humor. Never gets old." No but seriously..it doesnt. And I love it. The missionaries are hands down the funniest. At one point I was instructed by the Elder on my team that from there on out we were only going to speak in accents. Then at one point the ball landed right in between the two of us and we just looked at each other pulling faces and someone was like "its like they are having a serious fight in their heads right now!" And one Elder is from Portugal and he missed the ball and they were like "Elder Laura, back to Portugal you go!" (His name isnt really Elder Laura but 3 out of the 4 girls on that teams name were Laura so they had to make it the Laura team)
Then at the end of our fun little session one kid was like "Whose down to go party?" And another girl in a totally straight face said "We cant do that" hahahaha I laughed so hard.
Oh man-Mormons seriously are like high on life like every single day. And i love it. So yeah-it's been a great Monday. Unfortunately I have to go to work now and i'm there until a quarter after 2 in the morning. Boooo. Disney doesn't realize Madison needs sleep.

Fun in the park
First off I have been in Disney for over a month! I cant believe it. It's gone by really fast but in someways when I look at it i'm like what the? It's only been a month and not like 8? but yeah..everything is going good. All next week I am deployed to Main Street East which I am dreading greatly but whatev..we'll see how it goes!
Yesterday Erin and I made the fun trek over to the Magic Kingdom. We got some pictures with Pluto, saw Laura working, and listened to the Dapper Dans sing some boy band songs...yes. One Direction was amongst those songs. Holla atcha.
We then patiently waited for Peter Pan to make his debut so we could see him. Duh, who doesnt love Peter Pan? Because I sure do! "I do believe in fairies, I do I do!"
After we went over to Thunder Mountain because we met a girl on the bus who said she would let us on. Seriously she was just like "come visit me' and we were like okay cool. So we did and we got to walk like right on the ride. Unfortuanatly karma wasnt on our side for basically using a complete stranger because we got the very first row on the ride. And anyone who has ever been in the front of that ride knows that the front is the last place you want to be. The front sucks. But it was still fun, and we didnt have to wait. We then got sidetracked with the parade as we made our way over to Space Mountain. Once at Space Mountain the wait said 35 minutes so we got fast passes and then went to the standby line. The wait time ended up being over an hour but the guy behind us gave us his fast passes because his family had dinner reservations they had to go to. So right after we got off Space Mountain we walked on the ride two more times. Pretty sweet and made waiting over an hour worth it.
After we hit up PhilarMagic which was really cute and I actually really enjoyed it. Decided I better test that one out since one of the shops I work in is the dump store for it. I can now talk along with the guests when they tell me what a cute show it is and I can actually agree instead of pretending like I know what they are talking about! :)
Anyway..I do love having days off obviously. so fun to be able to just go play at the parks! Disney is pretty sweet.

Darlin' it's better down where it's wetter...
Did I finally meet Ariel? Uh duh.
So heres the thing. I was going to go today to meet Ariel then decided I would just go shopping instead at a Cast member store. Decided at this store I would run to the park and get a bag. Once at the park I caught the end of the parade. Then headed over to the Emporium but they didnt have the bag I wanted so I went to Fantasyland because obviously I knew they had it. Once I bought the bag I decided "hey, i'm already in Fantasyland, i'll go get a good look of Prince Eric's castle." Once at Prince Eric's castle I was like oh look. Ariels grotto is right there. Only a 25 minute wait? Sold.
So yeah...I met Ariel. All by myself. Because i'm a rockstar like that. Honestly didnt even care. The things I do for my favorite mermaid. Then after leaving the Grotto I happened across Gaston so yeah. It was a good day at the Magic Kingdom all by myself! :)
AND....a massive happy birthday to my brand new nephew!! Welcome into this world Easton!! Wish I could be there to hold you but Auntie Madison loves you!!!!!

Faith. Trust. And a Little Pixie Dust
Well..On Sunday I had a shift 4-2:30 AM. Ew. So early! I was working in Bonjour. This was my first time working in this store because it's in the new Fantasyland and it has to have its own costume so we dont work there too often because you're in the store the whole day. It wasnt too bad of a shift though because I was with some good people luckily. On my way to one of my teas (break) the fireworks was going on. I stopped to watch of course and guess who was next to me doing the same thing...Ariel! Yeah thats right. My all time favorite. So we're basically best friends now. The fireworks really bonded us. Just kidding..we just discussed the fireworks but still. It was exciting.
Monday and Tuesday I was in Zone 2. Yesterday (Tuesday) wasn't such a bad day because I met two different people from Utah. The first I talked to first because the dad has a Utes hat on. They currently live in New York but they are from Utah..so it counts. The second was a guy I was checking out (on the register. hahaha) and he saw my name tag and he was like "Oh representing Utah Valley" and I was like ya. You know where it is? And he was like yeah, I went to BYU, so bam. So exciting. We talked for like five minutes so it was fun!
Today and tomorrow I will be in Zone 2. Then I get a break! Hooray. Just kidding, I love my job. The kids are so fun. Yesterday while working in the Pooh shop I had a Pooh stuffed animal I was holding and made it look like he was waving. The kids were eating it up! Oh my gosh they were loving the idea that Winnie the Pooh was waving to them. So great!
Today it seemed like I was merchentaining basically my whole shift in Castle Coutour...therefore I am COVERED from head to toe in glitter. It's never gonna get off I swear!
Then, tonight I got a text saying Courtnie is gonna have her baby. I am so excited but a little sad obviously because i'm not there! :( But I knew that would happen obviously, I just wish I could be there.
I love the fireworks. Just ya know...took this while chilling with Ariel |
Major traffic jam coming home from Church. We seriously thought we were going to die. Sketchy traffic |
My costume for Bonjour...so interesting! |

Work. Work. Work.
My life is eat. sleep. work. Which whatever....I obviously came here to work so its fine. I have decided a few things though.
A. I prefer Zone 1 over Zone 2.
B. Lots of people try to speak to me in Spanish and I realize I literally learned nothing in my 4 years of Spanish.
C. Fantasy Faire is my favorite store because it actually plays music...and the Little Mermaid is some of that music!
D. If you get Pixie Dusted you will find that stuff all around the apartment days later...
E. When it rains, every single person has to buy a poncho and it gets out of control.
F. The park gets really busy during Mardi Gras, like I thought people go to New Orleans for that..but no. They go to Disney!
G. Aladdins part in the firework show is still my favorite and probably will always be. But the Hercules part is definitely a close second.
H. Never fail, there is always a child crying during the fireworks in a store because of the loud bangs. But to me, the fireworks never cease to be magical! :)
Anyway it's been a pretty uneventful week, besides it being cold and rainy. Being Valentines week all the princes were with the Princesses so that was fun to see more Princes out and about obviously. Because i'm clearly all about the Princes.
On Valentines day I was secretly glad it was rainy because I felt like that made the park not be so crazy. I came home from work from a rad package from my parents. This package was decked out in One Direction stuff so obviously I loved it while my roommates just rolled their eyes. In the package was some sweets for the roommates though so they all love Momma and Papa Packer. Haha!
Yesterday was a day off and the Missionaries came over to talk to me. They are so cute! :) I guess while I was checking them into the complex all my roommates were freaking out cause they thought the Missionaries were like making sure I could still be in the religion and like inspecting. Hahahaha. I laughed so hard. I was like uh actually they just came to talk to me and share a message. They are fantastic Elders though. I really think highly of them. After they left I went to a church dance with some girls I met at church. It was really fun! After the dance some people from the ward (the dance was only 2 wards...Orlando only has 2 single wards. werid.) went and got ice cream then went to a park. I didnt get home till like 2:30 and my roommates were freaking out. Hahaha oh my entertaining roommates. I love them though! :)

Stocking and Sunday
Alrighty...so yesterday I had to go in at 7 AM. Excuse me? If you know me you know I am the FURTHEST thing from a morning person. Seriously like Madison and Morning isn't even supposed to be in the same sentence. Anyway so the reason I had to be there at 7 when the park opened at 9 was to do morning stock. Umm..yeah not good because I have not been trained on how to do that so I had no knowledge of that at all. So I tagged along with a girl who did it. It was actually really neat because once she found out I was from Utah and that I was LDS she became so interested in learning everything I believe in. It was an awesome missionary experience. She could not wrap her head around the fact that we don't practice piligamy anymore. When we were talking about it infront of another cast member the other cast member was like "Wait, what religion are you?" And the cast member I had been talking to was like "Mormon. But not the crazy side." Hahaha I started laughing. Oh man. I've actually had opportunities every day to have missionary experiences. It's seriously so neat.
Today I was scheduled for Area Stock. Umm excuse me, I havent been trained remember? So yeah, it was a long day of just tagging along and I felt dumb and un-helpful but I survived. I came home, took a power nap and took off for Church.
Lets be real, since the moment I arrived in Orlando I have desperately wanted to meet some LDS kids. I was FINALLY able to attend Church today! Lucky for me I just have to take the bus like I am going to work. I get off at the same stop I do for work but instead of hopping on the shuttle that goes to the park, some members are there to shuttle us over to the church which is about a mile away. On my way to the bus the kid infront of me was wearing church clothes. As soon as we both stopped waiting for the bus he turned to me and was like "You going to church?" So then we got talking, met a couple more girls and talked the whole bus ride. It was great to be able to talk about Utah (we were all from Utah) and actually have people understand where I am coming from, why I do the things I do, and what not. The service was great. It was only sacrament meeting at 8 at night. The full block is at 9 in the morning but they have a sacrament meeting at night for those who had to work during the day. It's awesome so more people have the opportunity to participate of the Sacrament. Anyway a Sister missionary and Elder spoke. Honestly the whole time I was like man, answers to my prayers left and right. After the meeting I went and met with the bishop as we filled out a paper in order for my records to get sent here. He was so nice and we had a nice little chat. Once I got in the lobby the Elder who spoke approached me and talked to me. He asked if he could meet with me later this week and said they try to meet with the members about once every three weeks. He then told me if I need anything at all to contact them. Him and his companion were so sweet and i'm really looking forward to my meeting with them this week. I'm so glad I was able to attend tonight. It's so refreshing to attend Church and be surrounded by people who share the same beliefs.
Okay-sorry this post was rarely about Disney in itself. I was just pretty stoked to go to church!
